Consultancy

Trees are important features of the landscape whether part of a woodland, large estate or as a focal point in a private garden.
In order to ensure they remain safe and healthy, regular inspections are advisable.
An expert inspection can reveal disease or bio-mechanical malfunction which may prevent early death of the tree or danger to the public.

We are able to offer a range of consultancy services to meet the client’s particular need.
These include:-

Development Site Surveys

These are usually undertaken on behalf of developers, architects or private house owners to ensure trees are sensitively integrated with housing and properly protected during development.
We can offer the following services:

Duty of Care Surveys

All land owners have a 'Duty of Care' to those using their land.
The importance of this has been highlighted by recent court cases.

Especially in areas of public access, it is important to have trees inspected regularly for defects and other safety issues.
If necessary more detailed climbing inspections or inspections using specialist decay detection equipment can be arranged.
We can carry out such work for public bodies and private individuals.

Much of our work involves roadside ‘Duty of Care’ inspections for large private estates. This can involve use of GPS and digital mapping.

Recent clients include:- Mortgage and insurance reports

Many Mortgage Providers and Insurance Companies require reports on trees on properties in order to assess the subsidence risk.
As a members A.M.U.I.G and Consulting Arborists Society, we are qualified to prepare and present such reports.

Planting Schemes

We can provide expert advice on suitable trees and shrubs for a variety of locations and purposes including 'problem areas'.

Arboricultural Contracting

We can arrange for arboricultural work to be carried out by suitably experienced and qualified contractors.
We are happy to apply on your behalf to carry out work on trees covered by Tree Preservation Orders or those located within Conservation Areas.
