Trees are an important feature of
the landscape and whether part of a woodland or as a focal point in a
private garden. In order to ensure they remain safe and healthy,
regular inspections are advisable. An expert inspection may reveal disease
or bio-mechanical malfunction which if left untreated will cause
early death of the tree or danger to the public.
Development
Site Surveys
These are typically undertaken on
behalf of developers to ensure trees are sensitively integrated with
the housing developments and properly protected during development.

offer professional advice. The new drive on the right was designed to
ensure the minimum environmental impact and damage to the existing woodland.
Survey work is undertaken in
accordance with BS5837.
Health &
Safety Surveys
Especially in areas of public
access, it is important to have trees inspected regularly for defects
and other safety issues. If necessary detailed climbing
inspections can be arranged. We can carry out such work for public
bodies and private individuals.
Mortgage and Insurance Reports
Many mortgage providers and
insurance companies require reports on trees on properties in order
to assess the subsidence or storm damage risk. As a member of A.M.U.I.G
and C.A.S. we are licensed to make such reports.
Planting Schemes
We can provide expert advice on
suitable trees and shrubs for a variety of locations and purposes
including 'problem areas'.
